What happens during a session?
Great question! Before we begin, we will spend a few minutes talking about your intentions for your session.  When the session begins, you'll remain fully clothed while relaxing comfortably on a massage table. Gentle music may play as Reiki is offered with light touch (with permission) or just above the body. Most sessions end with time to discuss your experience and answer any questions and/or recommendations. Â

What does Reiki feel like?
Everyone experiences Reiki differently. You may notice warmth, tingling, a sense of heaviness or lightness, emotional release, vivid imagery, or simply feel deeply relaxed. Some people don't notice much during the session but still feel a deep sense of relaxation and calm after the session has concluded.Â

Do I have to believe in Reiki in order for it to work? Is it religious?Â
No. Reiki is a relaxation practice that does not require any particular beliefs. Many clients simply come to unwind and reduceÂ
 stress.Â

No. Reiki is NOT a religion and is NOT associated with any specific faith. People of all beliefs- or none at all- are always welcome.Â

How will I feel afterward? How often should I recieve Reiki?
Many people feel peaceful, refreshed, and more centered. Others may feel sleepy or energized. Drinking water and taking it easy for the rest of the day can help you integrate your experience.

It depends on your goals. Some clients schedule sessions monthly for wellness maintenance, while others prefer weekly or bi weekly support during particularly stressful times. Â
